Invisalign®

Using a series of custom-made aligners, the Invisalign® treatment gradually and gently straightens your teeth. All patients receive customized aligners. They are transparent and made from impressions of the teeth to allow maximum tooth contact and reduce contact with the gums.

Traditional braces, or even “invisible” braces, can cause discomfort, mouth sores, tooth decay and plaque build-up. With Invisalign®, there are no metal brackets or wires. Simply wear each set of custom aligners in succession for two weeks for the duration of your treatment.

Because the aligners are removable, the Invisalign® treatment also allows you to eat your favourite foods before brushing and flossing as you normally would.

Invisalign® treatment is safe for adults and adolescents and is customized for each patient and requires visits every four to six weeks.

Orthodontics

People of all ages can benefit from orthodontic treatment. Whether your teeth are crowded, crooked or misaligned, orthodontic treatment improves not only your smile, but also your oral health. Straight, aligned teeth are easier to clean and are less likely to develop cavities. In addition, protruding teeth can be prone to chipping or even breakage and crowded or crooked teeth are harder to clean, making them more prone to cavity development and gum disease.

You may also consider orthodontics if the position of your teeth affects your bite. Even if you’ve adapted, a bad bite hinders chewing certain foods and can lead to wear and tear. But by fixing a bad bite, you improve both your smile and your overall oral health.
